When do we transfer personal data to countries outside the EEA?
If we transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area, we provide appropriate safeguards to protect it. These safeguards include, in particular, transferring data only to recipients (i) in countries with an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or (ii) who have signed the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long do we store your personal data?
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the respective purposes:
• Provision of our Platform: The data is stored for as long as you maintain your account withus. After cancellation of your account, your data will be deleted within 3 months, after thatwe've hash the contacts so we can track our Cockpit usage to improve usability and userexperience
• Provision of our Websites: The data is only stored for the time of your use of the Websites and is then immediately deleted. Your IP address may be anonymised instead byshortening it.
• Communication with you: We store your data during the communication process and for 3 years after its conclusion if the content of the communication does not require a longer storage period in individual cases (e.g. because it is still relevant for our contractual relationship).
• Your application data: Your data is deleted at the latest six months after the application was rejected. If you provided your consent, we can store your data in our talent pool for 24months.
• Improving our Online Services: We use the data as long as we have your active consent.
• Marketing: We use the data as long as we have your active consent.
• Ensuring security and fraud prevention for our Online Services: Logs to ensure platformsecurity are generally stored by us and our service providers for three days, unless there isa report. In this case we keep the data until the account is deleted.
• Defence of legal claims: We store your data until the possible claims for which we store thedata have become time-barred.
Your rights
You have the following rights in relation to your Personal Data:
• Right to access and data copy: You can request information about the processing of your Personal Data. You also have the right to receive a copy of the Personal Data that is being processed.
• Right to rectification: You can request the rectification of incorrect Personal Data.
• Right to erasure: You can request the erasure of your Personal Data in accordance with the legal requirements. Please note that in some cases we may not be able to fulfil your request for erasure, particularly if we are legally obliged to retain the data.
• Right to restriction of processing: Under certain circumstances, you can request that the processing of your Personal Data be restricted.
• Right to data portability: You have the right to receive your Personal Data in a machine-readable format in order to take it to another controller.
• Right to withdraw consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
